Your Collection-Day Guide

This guide outlines how Launch Lane Dublin helps you prepare for a smooth device-collection experience in Dublin 1 or the Docklands. Every suggestion below is informational — your actual collection is governed entirely by the retailer from whom you pre-ordered.

Before Collection Day

  1. Confirm your pre-order details. Double-check the confirmation email or message from your retailer. Note the collection date, time window, and exact store address. We cannot verify or modify retailer bookings on your behalf.
  2. Contact us for a planning appointment. Reach out by email at [email protected] or by phone at +353 1 912 6842. Tell us the store location, your preferred arrival time, and whether you are coordinating with a group.
  3. Receive your personalised arrival plan. After our appointment, we will send you a written plan covering your suggested arrival window, a recommended walking or transit route, and a short checklist of items to bring.

What to Bring on the Day

  • Your retailer confirmation email or order number, displayed on your phone or printed
  • A valid photo ID if the retailer's collection policy requires one
  • Your payment card if the retailer requires final payment or verification at collection
  • A small bag for carrying your new device home safely
  • Comfortable clothing and a rain layer — Dublin weather is unpredictable
  • A fully charged phone so you can access maps, messages, and your confirmation
  • A water bottle and a light snack if you expect any waiting time

Arriving at the Collection Point

Our plan will suggest a specific arrival window based on publicly available information about store opening times and expected foot traffic. Please note that this is a suggestion only — it does not guarantee a shorter wait or any form of priority. The retailer controls all aspects of the queue and collection process.

Getting There by Public Transport

Most Dublin 1 and Docklands collection points are well served by Dublin Bus, Luas, and DART. Your arrival plan will include the nearest stops and estimated journey times from common starting points. We recommend checking real-time service updates on the morning of collection.

Getting There by Bicycle or on Foot

We will identify nearby Dublin Bikes stations and secure cycle-parking locations. Walking routes will prioritise well-lit, accessible footpaths.

Group Arrival Coordination

If two or more people in your household, friend group, or workplace are collecting devices on the same day, we can align your arrival windows so you travel together. This is especially useful for sharing transport costs or simply having company while you wait. Each person must still hold their own valid pre-order with the retailer.

After Collection

Once you have collected your device, our involvement ends. We do not provide technical support, device setup assistance, or warranty services. For any post-collection queries, please contact your retailer or the device manufacturer directly.

Important Reminder

Launch Lane Dublin provides planning information only. We have no authority over queue order, store entry, stock availability, or any retailer policy. Your collection experience is ultimately determined by the retailer and their staff.
